Antman and the Wasp Villain
Marvel Studios showed us significantly more in new Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer than you may have figured. For example, did you get Michael Pena? Backpedal and watch it once more. He's fleeing from that purple, racing car around the :59 second mark. Extremely short, a flicker and-you-missed-it minute. The same goes for co-star Laurence Fishburne, who will play Bill Foster in the sequel.
You may have seen only a look at the Antman's new enemy which is the GHOST .Ghost is a Marvel Comics villain, created by writer David Michelinie and artist Bob Layton in 1987 for the pages of Iron Man #219.
In comic’s Ghost has infused his body with a unique microchip technology that he invented, and now has a “cyberpathic” connection to computer networks, making him a world class hacker. The microchips’ biggest advantage was that they could become intangible, which prevented them from overheating — and it also gives Ghost’s stealth suit the ability to phase through walls.
Ghost uses these abilities to prey on corporations, in revenge for the corporation that used and manipulated him so that it could continue to profit off of his inventions.
Ghost has one major difference from the comics: She’s a woman. Hannah John-Kamen (Game of Thrones, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Dark Souls 2) will play the character of ghost, who shows up twice in the trailer once in costume with mask and hood and once, as this hand that appears to have a blurred effect on it.
Ghost was primarily used in the comics as an Iron Man villain, there is no indication that Iron Man will be showing up in this movie, especially since Ant-Man sided with Team Cap against Team Iron man in Captain America: Civil War. Beside from the gender-swapped nature of the comics Ghost character, there could also be some compelling changes to Ghost's origins as well.
