Amazon Go - a futuristic grocery store

Amazon is a really huge company . The way it began from a small bookstore to a real big online retail store which sells everything between A to Z thats what the logo suggests. The company is very unique and is said to be customer centric. The prices are usually low and the delivery process is ground breaking.

Amazon is a household name in USA. the innovation in everything they do is awesome for example they have their own line up of android tablets which run their own flavor of Operating System called the Fire OS . they launched in 2014 along with Foxxconn. The problem being incompatibility with third party apps killed it soon. but still a fire tab is fine for kids and family who use tabs for using amazon apps and amazon prime videos along with little games for essentially children.

The Amazon Innovation doesnt stop here they have a "dash button " which can order refill your detergents, flour, soaps, and some exclusive products .after the intial set up with phone and adding the button to your account , you can order the product just at the touch of a button

.

Recently, Amazon has showcased its own futuristic grocery store called the Amazon Go. Tauted as the most advanced shopping experience, it also reflects a question "is this store really necessary at this point of time?"

To use the store all you need to do is to download the app and login with your amazon credentials. There are no helpers in the shop and there is no billing systems kept, everything is automated. When we say automated it actually means right from lacking billing, there is an virtual cart and everything you buy can be bagged by the customer himself and once he does it . he has to go out of the store and the products in the bag will be evaluated and the amount will be deducted right from the credit or debit card attached to the account of the user. This experience was shown in youtube and in a modern city of seattle its great experience but handling huge population and evaluating all the customers purchases all at once are the next challenges faced by the deep learning algorithms and the sensors fixed in the store at various places.

But the question arises

Is this autonomous market place can sustain itself in a third world country? or in a burglar infested location? is it the capitalists saying that the autonomy has taken over and the days of manual labour are done??

basic question from a layman: so the shop which claims to eradicate the problem of standing in long queues actually do that??. This sarcastic line popped up in most of the customers brains coz they literally had to stand in queue. So the answer to this question is that this is an adaptive model so these algorithms first learn about human environment and then will be able to help you better. This would eventually lead to end of the human labour and unemployment rates would certainly be higher too.
