Samsung On7 Prime-another budget phone from Samsung's New Galaxy of On series
Hello,
Its a jolly good new year and it looks like Samsung India wants to ruffle its feathers in the midrange segment where Chinese giants like Huawei,Xiaomi and Lenovo are getting the lion's share.
We all know Samsung's midrangers all look the same and they have identical specs at different price point 2017 is a disappointing year for samsung's midrange champions which have names which can confuse both the seller and the buyer equally.
The 2018 samsung galaxy on7 prime (which samsung wants to call it) coz it looks just the same as the j7 prime which was the forerunner in the budget segment and the rest of the samsung phones which were sold in the 10k -20k INR were permutations of the same.
These phones generally skimmed all the basic sensors as well.
well to sum up the latest samsung's offering is a unibody phone with an sd card slot too(that's the only best part)
pros:
classic metallic unibody samsung phone 5.5 fullHD notification light /headphone jack
gets an sd card slot on top of 64gb version too
the all new experience UI
cons
no AMOLED screen
average battery life
this will hang as well coz the processor is the same old 14nm based phone
No NFC
Display - TFT display (normal 16:9) No display protection No backlit keys No auto brightness sensor No basic sensors No secondary noise cancelling microphone Average camera (front and back)
Biggest joke in this joke: 3/32gb ram: Rs.13K 4/64gb ram: Rs.15K
Bottom Line: buy the old j7 prime 32gb version with same features.
your offline store might sell you j7 prime at a discounted price so check again if you are suppose too buy this phone
On7Prime= J7Prime(2016)+32GB +2000INR extra
